SSC GD Cut Off 2024: General, OBC, SC, ST Passing Marks State Wise

Staff Selection Commission is going to release the SSC GD Cut Off 2024 for the candidates who appeared in the examination. SSC had conducted the exam for GD (General Duty) Constable on a total of four shifts between 20th February and 30th March.

SSC GD Exam 2024 Marking Scheme

Candidates who appeared in the examination claims that the level of paper lies between easy to moderate. Generally, the average attempt to qualify for the exams is 35 out of 80. In the exam, each question contains 2 marks, and every wrong answer will deduct 0.25 marks from your score. Bihar and UP have the highest cut-off marks for the candidates with 135-140 marks, and Ladakh has the lowest cut-off marks for the candidates with 50-55 marks in the exam. SSC GD Exam 2024 Passing Marks

The passing marks are the minimum marks that are required for the citizens to qualify for the exam for further rounds of selection. The Staff Selection Commission has designed these passing marks on the basis of different categories in the country. So, the passing marks for candidates to qualify for the SSC GD exam are as follows:

  • Candidates of Unreserved Category/General Category need to score a minimum of 35% marks.
  • Candidates of ST/SC/OBC need to score only 30% marks to qualify for the exam.
  • The minimum SSC GD Cut Off 2024 will lie between 80 and 130 marks as per the reservation.
  • Candidates of the Economically Weaker Section also need to score a minimum of 30% marks.
  • As per the rule, ex-servicemen also need to score a minimum of 35% marks to qualify for further process of selection.

SSC GD Cut Off 2024 Category Wise

In India, the SSC releases the cut-off for the candidates based on category. The candidates need to score minimum marks as per their category to qualify for the exam. This category-wise SSC GD Cut Off 2024 is also known as reservation-wise.

  • Candidates of the General Category need to score marks between 140-142 in the exam.
  • Candidates of OBC (Other Backward Classes) need to score marks between 135 and 140 in the exam.
