Good news for all farmers who are waiting for the PM Kisan 17th Installment. Recently, the Prime Minister announced that the payments would be released in May. The Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare looks after the list and data of farmers who are beneficiaries of this scheme. Started in 2019, this Pradhan Mantri Kisaan Samman Nidhi has completed 16 installments and already helped millions of farmers in Indian villages.

The Farmers are eligible for this scheme and can register themselves for installments. There are no special criteria, and every farmer will get a payment of 2000rs every four months, a total of 6000rs per year. For enrollment, the farmer must have an Aadhar card, Residential Proof, PAN card, etc. Farmers have to complete e-KYC on the website – pmkisan.gov.in to get installments. If someone doesn’t have an internet connection, then one can do e-KYC through OTP in the PMKISAN portal.

When this scheme was started, the budget was 21000 crore rupees, and more than 3 million farmers registered. This scheme comes under the Dept. of Agriculture and Welfare for improving facilities for farmers. Only Indian farmers can be beneficiaries of this scheme. Important Document for PM Kisan 17th Installment

All those farmers who want to avail the benefits of this scheme will need the following documents.

• Farmers must have their identification proofs like – Aadhar card, PAN card.
• For registration, they should have a passport-size photo, income certificate, caste certificate, and residential proof.
• For the KYC process, the phone number needs to be verified by the website. So, that one can check the status and list of the installments to be released by the government.
• For e-KYC, one must have an email address through which he can update details on the website on his own and also regulate details.

How to check PM Kisan 17th Installment Status?

If you fall in the eligible category and are a beneficiary of this scheme, then you can follow the steps given below to download the 17th installment list.

• First, you need to login into the official website https://pmkisan.gov.in/
• After login, read all the instructions carefully.
• Click on the beneficiary list, which is on the top-right side, then you will be redirected to a new webpage.
• You have to enter your details like – state, district, sub-district, tehsil, village and block.
• Now enter your personal details like – Name, Application number etc.
• Click on the submit tab and installment list will be displayed on your screen.
• Then, you can download it and search your name into the list for further installments.

PM Kisan 17th Installment Date & Time

There is no official date announcement, but as per the previous installment list on 2nd february 2024, it can be assumed that the 17th installment will also be released within the first week of May. The amount of 2000rs will be directly deposited to the bank account of eligible farmers. These eligible farmers’ lists will be released 1 week before payment distribution.

If someone doesn’t receive payment even after their name is on the installment list, he can wait for 1-2 weeks as there are many transactions in process. Due to lots of pending requests it might get delayed for some time, but it doesn’t mean you will not get the payment. You will definitely receive the payment if you have the name in the installment list released by the website of PM-KISAAN Yojana.

Steps to check PM Kisan Status 2024?

Because each installment has an interval of 4 months, it is necessary to check the payment status regularly. Therefore, all eligible farmers should carefully follow the steps given below to check their payment status online.

• Go to the website of PM-KISAAN Yojna that is- https://pmkisan.gov.in/
• Now, enter your application number and password correctly, and then click on the login button.
• Then you will be redirected to the login portal, and on the right side, there will be a “Know your status” Tab
• Click on the Know Your Status tab, and the status of your installment will be shown here.

If the status shows- “Payment disbursed”, it means the installment has been credited to your bank account successfully. And if the status is “Eligible- Not paid”, it means you are eligible for installment but haven’t received it yet. Maybe in a short period of time, you will get the payment in your bank account.
